Stoneware clay wheel thrown, coated with a fine slip and burnished to a high shine, then bisqued to cone 06. An Iron solution is sprayed to give the golden color, Then the pieces are fired in a raku kiln, the hot pieces are removed from the kiln and pieces of horsehair are applied, leaving the black squiggly lines.
